The Trinidad and Tobago NatureLink was originally conceived as a means for birdwatchers to effectively communicate with one another. I soon realised, however, that for the wider public there existed few resources for learning about our environment. Indeed there exists a need for ALL naturalists in Trinidad and Tobago to share their knowledge and so the original idea grew to what it is now. And whilst I don’t pretend to be an expert or expect the present generation to utilize the site and its features fully, I do hope that future generations of naturalists may someday benefit from the information contained within.
